The Practice Administrator reports to the CEO. Will create short and long term plans and be accountable for the outcomes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives with business practices and processes. Lead financial operation including: Budget preparation, monthly financial reports, financial analysis, and achieving budgeted financial objectives. Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in an office. Communicate updates and events of operation to appropriate people to keep all apprised. Develop positive relationships with local key health care providers (PCPs and hospitals), local business affiliates, local government and the general public. The Practice Administrator will demonstrate the following competencies and skills: strong patient focus; a strong working relationship with physician partners; will demonstrate strong operational, financial and management capabilities; ability to work strategically as well as tactically; results orientated with a focus on improving the bottom line, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Bachelor''s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or related field required. Graduate degree preferred.
5 years of responsibility and progressive experience in medical practice management /administrative capacities in health care.
Excellent communication. Thorough understanding of components of practice management, including billing/collection/insurance, performance standards, physician concerns, quality assurance, personnel selection and budgetary planning, control & assessment. Ability to supervise professional and non-professional associates and promote staff development through delegation. Ability to work well with a wide variety of professionals at all levels in the health care system.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
