Surgery Physician Assistant
Seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join a well-established, growing surgery team. This is an expansion position working with two general surgeons. Quality of life, enjoying your work and being rewarded for your efforts will be found at this practice. Duties include, but not limited to:
Perform comprehensive history and physical exams. Order, interpret and correlate appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions when appropriate. Exercise judgment with issues requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising physicians. Assist the physicians in the global management of patient care in all pre and post peri-operative settings. The surgical PA will handle routine problems and procedures, freeing the surgeon to concentrate on more complex patients. Base Salary negotiable depending on experience. Requirements/Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, organized and have an in-depth knowledge of medical procedures. Must be a graduate of an AMA approved two-year Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA certification in good standing.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
